Dr. Linde is happy to regularly help socially deprived individuals free of charge. Mrs. H. (59) suffers from severe knee arthrosis. She would have needed a knee prosthesis long time ago, but her grade III lipedema makes this difficult. The orthopedic surgeon refuses to operate on her because of her fat swelling and requires the fat to be removed before the operation. The health insurance does not cover the costs of a fat removal and since Mrs. H. is destitute, unfortunately, she cannot take legal action.
Thanks to the LIPOCLINIC Social Fund, Mrs. H. was treated free of charge. She was overly happy after the operation, and we now wish that she can have her knee prosthesis very soon.
